Boatbookings Magazine Boatbookings.com, a world leader in yacht charter holidays and business events, recently completed a successful, a first-of-its-kind promotion where it purchased carbon credits for each of its charters booked from 15 December to 31 December. The goal was for all of these boats to charter with a zero carbon footprint. Through this program, the company offset 25 tons of CO2, and, just as importantly, charterers could enjoy themselves on their yachts knowing that they were not contributing to global warming. Through the program, the CO2 emissions of each charter were estimated and credits were purchased through Boatbokings.com's partner, JP Morgan Climate Care.
